FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

-WHAT ARE THE REGISTRATION FEES?  Prior to June 3:  Flag Football is $50, Spirit Squad is $120, Cheerleading is $60 plus additional fees for uniform & supplies, Football is $100 plus additional fees for jersey.   All registrations June 3rd or later will incur increasing late charges, also note that due to time of registration and supply chain issues it may cause your child to receive their uniform or equipment late, if at all.  All registrations are subject to Kentucky Sales Tax.

-WHAT ARE THE UNIFORM COSTS?  Game day tackle jerseys are $60,  Our previous cheer uniforms have been discontinued and we're excited to unveil a new uniform for 2024!  The cheer uniform package includes socks, briefs, midriff top, bow, poms, skirt, and shell is $177.  A cheer uniform package that includes cheer shoes is $232.  Cheerleaders choosing to purchase a package without shoes will be required to provide their own solid white cheer shoes.  All uniform sales are subject to Kentucky Sales Tax.

-WHAT IS INCLUDED : 
Flag Football - game day tee
Spirit Squad - game day uniform, briefs, midriff top, socks, bow, & tiny poms
Football - mouth guard, chin strap, socks, & use of league provided safety equipment (pads & helmet), additional fee for jersey
Cheerleading - Uniform includes shell, skirt, briefs, midriff top, poms, socks, bow, & optional shoes for additional fee, competition entry, mat time

NKYFL League fees, facility usage fees, and referee costs are all factored into registration fees.

-WHERE CAN I GET SPIRIT WEAR? We will provide you the opportunity to purchase select spirit wear during this registration thru June 2nd.  The cost of this spirit wear will be added to your payment plan if you choose.  Other than that, we offer spirit wear year-round here.

-WHERE AND WHEN IS PRACTICE?  Practice location is currently TBD as we work to finalize that for 2024. Specific days and times are dependent upon individual coaches and the team needs, however most are conducted Monday-Thursday between the hours of 6-8PM.

-WHEN DOES PRACTICE START?  Practice will start the week of July 15, 2024.  There may be optional camps or workouts that your coach contacts you about prior to that. 

-WHEN AND WHERE ARE GAMES?  Games are held on Saturday OR Sunday each weekend and occur all over Northern Kentucky depending on our opponent.  The estimated NKYFL Schedule is as follows:  Jamboree:  last weekend of July or 1st weekend of August - this is required for all participants and when weigh in and team check in occurs, Regular Season:  9 weeks mid August - mid October, Playoffs:  2 weeks following season, Cheer Competition:  late October, Super Bowl: End of October.  Please note that this is a league with many schools involved and the schedule is not built around any fall breaks.  Use this as a heads up to plan any trips accordingly.

-WHAT AGE DIVISION IS MY CHILD IN?  This registration is a "smart" registration.  Based on the birthdate you enter for your child you will only be able to register them in the correct age division.  Our divisions are Flag Football (age 5), Spirit Squad Cheer (ages 4-5), Starter (ages 6-7), Midget (ages 8-9), and Junior (ages 10-13).  Only a select handful of 13 year olds are eligible, as they cannot be entering any grade above 6th.

-CAN I GET A PAYMENT PLAN?  Absolutely.  The earlier you sign up the longer you have to pay.  We offer a convenient plan that allows for automatic installments between now and June 1st.  Registration is still open after June 1st, however it is past the automatic payment plan cut off date.

-IS THERE  A MULTI CHILD DISCOUNT?  No, there is not a multi child discount.  Our registration fees are built solely around our cost per participant and not inflated to cover a multi-child discount.
